About this app
A crowd reporting system that aims to alert LGUs about dangerous/hazardous, unsafe, and dirty areas reported by users.
Features:
1. Safety Map - That enables users to report unsafe areas to LGUs, to be able to see the reports of other users, and see all resolved areas by the LGU.
2. Friends - A Limited social media component that allows users to make friends & communicate with other users.
3. Tasks - Community activities that engages users to learn about SWM (Solid Waste Management), DRRM ( Disaster Risk-Reduction Management), and Child Protection with
friends in their community.
4. Emergency Hotlines - Emergency number listings to important local emergency hotlines and the ability to add personal contacts.
The KIDS MAProtect Mobile Application was developed under the MyCommunity Project of Save the Children Philippines funded by Asian Regional Office.
Children leaders from Resettlement Sites of Dorothea 1, Belmont Homes at Bronzeville Homes from Naic, Cavite participated in making the app.
The objective of the KIDS MAProtect is for children in community to be able to participate in providing information to authorities for them to be safe. Through this,
