[ui!] ECOMAT ecomat.v0.98 [free]

The [ui!] ECOMAT app is a Traffic Light Assistance (TLA) app, which supports car drivers at traffic signals by providing information about the next
signal. The smartphone has to be mounted at the car dashboard, to be seen while driving. No handling of the app is required or allowed while driving. Operation of the app
requires a connection to the internet which might create extra costs.
This app has been developed and tested for several months in the German research project CITRAM - Citizen Science for Traffic Management (www.citram.de), funded by the
German Ministery for Transportation and digital Infrastructure (BMVi). The app operated on dedicated testbeds in the German cities Chemnitz, Hamm and Krefeld. The testbeds
are closed at the moment.
Currently, tests are ongoing in Darmstadt. More testbeds are under preparation.
The app requires a connection to the internet and exchanges data with a server. Please take care to have a feasible contract for your mobile device to avoid data
costs.
The app is a BETA version, and you need to be registered as a user from our side. Registration requires a CODE that you receive as participant of our research projects, or
on request (write an email to [email protected] with a short explanation why you are interested in using the app).
Any usage is solely at risk of the driver. [ui!] doesn't accept any responsibility in case of damage.
