The FreeStyle LibreLink app has been approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. You can now check your glucose by scanning the sensor with your phone
and receive alerts from FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors when your glucose is low or high [1] [ 2].
The FreeStyle LibreLink app can be used to:
* view your current glucose readings, trend arrows, and glucose history;
* receive low or high glucose alarms from FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors [2];
* view reports, including concentration time in range and daily trends of the user;
* sharing, after giving consent, your data to the doctor and family members.

USING THE APP AND THE READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can be triggered on either the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or the user's phone (not both). In order to receive alarms on the phone, it is necessary to activate the sensor
using the application. In order to receive alarms on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, it is necessary to trigger the sensor with the reader. After triggering the sensor with the
reader, this sensor can also be scanned using the phone.
Please note that the application and the reader do not share data with each other. To have complete information on a particular device, you must scan your sensor with that
device every 8 hours. Otherwise, the reports will not contain all user data. Uploading and viewing data obtained using all user devices is possible on the LibreView.com
portal.

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is designed to measure glucose levels in people with diabetes and should be used with a sensor for this purpose. For more information on using the
